Power!
Power is the rate at which energy is transferred. This means the amount of energy which is transferred each second.
As we've previously seen work is the same as energy transferred, then you can also say that power is the same as the rate of doing work.
We measure power in WATTS. (1 watt = 1 joule of energy per second)
The equation we use to calculate power is:
power = Energy Transferred/Time Taken
It is also written:
P=W/T
P = Power
W = Work/Energy transferred
T = Time
You can also remember it as the "magic triangle" according to the question just manipulate the triangle!
